~~ travels have been interesting the last couple of days! firstly, our exhaust decided it needed to be independent and detach itself from the body of the vehical in the middle of the night... After spending some quality time on the side of the road in oklahoma, with semi trucks attempting to run us over, we finally rigged it up with enough jewelry wire to make it to the next exit where we slept near a corn field. we woke abruptly to an officer banging on our window to inquire about our identity and location. a simple $80 welding job later we were back on the road. Arkansas is beautiful, tempting us to drive further south than we had planned. All great and dandy until car troubles prevail..on some sory of very sketchy back roads in mississippi, (fu gps). only allowing us to drive no slower or faster...but exactly 46-55 mph without an accompaning rattle. eager to get home we continued to pursue the east until morning where we decided it would probably be smart to stop and get the problem looked at. Currently have been waiting since eight am for a wheel barring. alabama folk have been very kind, but after a month and a half on the road i am so craving my bed, friends, family
