Stewie and Chunky came with PAWS to the Friends Of Powers Park - TopicsExpress

Stewie and Chunky came with PAWS to the Friends Of Powers Park Howl-O-Ween.. Chunky was adopted by a neighborhood family and found her furever home. Stewie is still waiting for a family to adopt him and give him a loving furever home. We’re used to seeing big, brawny dogs here in our Adoptable Dog of the Week feature, so we’re mighty please when the little guys get a shake. This week’s pup is Stewie, a 19-pound fur ball who’d be happy to join you on a run. Read all about him below. Name: Stewie Location: PAWS Adoption Center (2nd and Arch Streets) Breed: Shih Tzu-mix Age: Three years Weight: 19 pounds Running style: Stewie likes to run but needs short breaks to rest his short legs. He’s also quite happy to be held or sit on your lap. He loves exploring the neighborhood around the shelter. Why Stewie is awesome: Stewie is a city-sized dog, with medium energy. He gets along with other dogs of all sizes. Stewie does like to be treated gently though, so a household without children would be best. Oh, and did we mention that he has one blue eye and one brown eye?! If you are interested in meeting Stewie, e-mail [email protected] for an application or contact the adoptions staff at 215-298-9680, ext. 16. You can find out more about Stewie and other adoptable animals here. And for more awww-worthy photos, check out our previous adoptable running dogs here.
