Still , last year was Japans best year ever with 13 or so million tourists. Unfortunately without a guide living here to show you around it can be quite daunting. Many japanese struggle with understanding the needs and feelings of foreigners, especially tourists. Would love to see Japan fully wake up to its potentional as theres so much to see and do, especially off the beaten track. Its gunna take a lifetime to get through it all, but this gaijins gunna try. My aussie mates that have come to visit will vouch for this. Japan is no longer expensive. Where else could you get all you could eat , drink and with karaoke for under 30 bucks. Howzaaat? Can get a decent business hotel for as little as 40 dollars a night. Last visitors that came, the infamous Rian and Ali Reckoned it was cheeper than Bali! Comon aussie, get your arses over.
