Still waiting to here from the insurance if they will provide Tony with 20 more days of Rehab. He is a strong young man who is anxiously waiting for his Dr appointment next Tuesday regarding if his heel is healed enough to take the walking cast off. He is continuing his own physical therapy and has bought ankle weights and free weights to use at home as well as stretching and taking tests and reading. With or without the insurance days he will finish the climb to his summit, nothing will stop him. he talked with me tonight and said his muscles are coming back more each day. he generally is very active in the morning, then naps and stretches and exercises late afternoon. i am so proud of his progress and determination to both meet his goal of driving and getting back to school in January for the Spring Semester. It is amazing watching his transformation and the speed in which he has made this journey. thank you Team Tony! and thank you Tony Vance for breaking all the statistics and shattering the goals set by the drs and therapists along the way. I remember going to Pate for the first time and hearing the physical therapist laughing when we told him tony expected to walk in two weeks being their, he said it would be at least 4 to 6 weeks...Tony did it in 9 days. Love you Tony!
