#StolenGP ~ This is apparently not illegal so police cannot do much about it. You can however help to stop these scammers by taking photos of them & posting it here for everyone to see. They pretend to be broken down or to have run out of fuel.These scammers do this as a full time job. Hi there. I would just like to report a con: There is a white woman in johannesburg in an old white opel (I think its a kadett) on Beyers Naude (north) on the N1 off ramp (Travelling to PTA) just as you pass the BP station. She pretends to have ran out of petrol and then asks passers by to go and buy her petrol. My girlfriend and I helped her the other night as it was only her and her grandmother in the car. We felt sorry for her and helped her out but there was a black male in the back ground the whole time carrying a 5L canister as well. He only popped up as soon as we stopped so we were were a little skeptic. but we help anyway. This morning she stood there again on the exact same spot doing the exact same thing. Thus she is just conning everyone. Please do not help her. she is probably a drug addict and needs to make money to pay back her drug dealer or something. I just hate it when people take advantage of people who really want to help. One more thing.....I would just like to know if it is a crime that she is committing? Kind regards, Juanroux.
