Stone blades, and Arrowheads in the Far North is no easy endeavor, once you set out on this quest it is full on camping and hiking for miles everyday along beaches that are virtually never ending. Using a boat most of the time just to get from one area to the next leapfrogging small creeks, rivers, and bluffs that offer no beaches sometimes and must boat around these obstacles. On an inland lake I discovered these Moose antlers from an apparent wolf kill, a set I have never seen such a dramatic asymmetry. I brought these back to Eagle River Alaska after an Arctic expedition and sold them to a tourist. Totally weird antler group as I love to collect the odd set now and then, they are my favorites. I actually had two trained dogs Gretchen and Chena whom found many for me while in the mountains south of Denali park.
