Stop Fussing ... Live One Day at a Time, Trust God & Obey Him! Weve got a formidably great God, Who lives in a great Kingdom [and in our great hearts], doing great and mighty things which our hearts cannot even conceive. His wisdom is beyond searching, His power, limitless; His largesse, inexhaustible; His name, great and able to save. He is greater than the most fearsome political juggernaut. Wiser than the wisest of men, and Wealthier than the whole universe put together. Ever thought of how great, careful and creative the One that makes bones grow in the uterus is? Ever thought of His master piece in alluring and mighty fishes, oceans, birds, flowers, and even beautiful you? What a God! Our God is great! Instead of walking with the eyes of faith, considering the greatness and omnipotence of our God, in our frailness, we many times allow our human hearts to worry about situations it can do absolutely nothing about. We must stop acting like people who dont know God. Indeed, the Words of Jesus are worth following; “Has anyone by fussing in front of the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? ... If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. - Mathew 6:27,30-34(MSG) TLB puts it this way: So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to. So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time. - Mathew 6:31-34(TLB). For the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them. - 2 Chron 16:9A (TLB). Beloved, the failures, shortcomings, lacks, unfulfilled dreams, and yet-to-be-fulfilled promises of 2013 (and previous years) will not repeat itself, only if you stop fussing and worrying. Instead, trust God, walk with Him sincerely, put Him first in all things, and obey Him at all times. Today is an open check, and what your life writes on it is what you get. Walk by faith and live one day at a time. I tell you the truth, all things are possible if you just BELIEVE in Him! (Luke 1:37, Mark 9:23). Just trust God, call on Him, and obey Him! Our God is extremely faithful, has never, can never, and will never fail the uncompromisingly righteous! Jesus saves indeed. It is well with you in Jesus name. Gods great grace, blessings and mercies be multiplied to you and all yours in Jesus name. Have a restful and joyous weekend. Shalom!
