Stop Recruiting and Start Building Relationships Unfortunately, - TopicsExpress

Stop Recruiting and Start Building Relationships Unfortunately, many people fail to achieve success in network marketing because their efforts are focused on short-term growth, instead of long-term relationship building. The prevailing mindset seems to be ... contact everyone you know, as quickly as possible about your opportunity. And if they are not receptive, then they are somehow flawed .. they just dont get it. Theres even a popular term in network marketing used to describe this scenario: Some will, some wont , so what, NEXT! Not only is this short-sighted and presumptuous, but its actually counter-productive, not to mention downright rude to whomever youre approaching. And yet, this is the path taken by a majority of network marketers, and whats worse, this behavior is encouraged by so called upline experts and MLM companies in general. The result of this approach has been, and will always be frustration, alienation and failure. And unfortunately, many new and enthusiastic network marketers are simply doing what they are told, trusting that their efforts will ultimately lead to success. This paradigm represents the current state of network marketing. So whats the alternative? Well, in my opinion, it starts with seeing your recruiting prospect as someone with whom you would like to develop a life-long friendship, one that transcends any potential monetary gain. Furthermore, dont view them as simply someone who could lead you to several other recruiting prospects, because its this mindset that leads you down ugly the path of urgency, pressure tactics and judgment. No matter what your sponsor or upline is telling you, make a personal commitment to always be completely open, upfront and honest about what it will take to achieve long-term success in network marketing. This means being brutally honest about the amount of time (years) and effort it will take to achieve success. And equally important, be completely honest about your own experiences in network marketing. For most network marketers, this may feel like a very negative exchange, and could possibly result in your recruiting prospect running for the hills. And in most cases, it will conflict with the training and advice youre getting from your upline leaders. So What! Stand your ground and choose to navigate your way to success with your relationships AND integrity intact. In the short-term it will be difficult, but your long term results (solid relationship AND financial success) will prove to be well worth the effort! Lets Keep Winning!
