Stop waiting for something to force you out. Sure you can last a couple more years going through the motions and hold onto the security, but what if you let go? You know youll be unhappy each day that you stay in the situation, that most of it serves as a facade to what you really want. But how will you make it once youre out of it? How will you survive financially? How will you get through the day without having someone to talk to? How will you make it on your own? You think that if you just wait a little bit longer that it will get better. It wont. There is a huge risk associated with letting go and changing. Its scary. But just realize that youre taking a risk by staying in your current situation. If you keep doing what youve always done, youll always get what you got. Not enough money? Itll never change. Not happy with your friendships? They wont get better. Always attracting bad relationships? Well make the best of it, because youre stuck with em. You will always be stuck in the same old rut with nothing but hope that things will improve or something better will come along. Youll never answer your phone one day with a call from your dream job if you never apply. Prince Charming will never find you if youre spending everyday with Peasant Pete. That dark cloud will always be above you if you dont start embracing change. Stop doing what youve always done and start getting what youve always wanted.
