Stopped by the Sherman Oaks Street Fair before heading to the VU SUNDAY PRO JAM for my regular weekly fix of playing with the finest Blues and R&B musicians in So. California - had to share a few pics ---- Me and the famous George BarrisMUSTER KOACH FAMILY CAR - and a photo from 2008 of me and George Barris on stage at the Grand National Roadster Show where he displayed some of the amazing custom guitars hes building, and was honored as a Legend in the Hot Rod world. Also, a photo of an original, real and completely unrestored SHELBY COBRA 427 SC owned by my lifelong friend, Anthony Boosalis that was displayed today; As teenagers Anthony and I were car guys and we raced his car at Lyons Drag Strip in the mid 60s. Back then, he (and most guys we knew) dreamed of someday owning a 427 Cobra. Well, Anthony has TWO of them, this one - an unrestored original 427 SC and an original full competition 427 -which is even more rare. Way to go Anthony. Sherman Oaks Street Fair is always a wonderful experience - put it on your calendar for next year. A stellar community event.
