Stopped for Starbucks & then at Walgreens. A man was frantically trying to find the owner of a grey Jeep while I was at the checkout. There were no witnesses and he could have just left, but he didnt. We traded info and he was so upset and apologetic about hitting my Jeep. Hed just left the hospital visiting his sick mother and still had a face mask hanging around his neck... for good reason his mind was unfortunately elsewhere when he was trying to park. I told him not to worry and that insurance would take care if it. He was just so kind and so honest, despite going through a very rough time. Meeting Gene today was a great New Years inspiration and I hope his mother recovers. People ARE good, especially New Mexicans! Happy New Year!
