This is a rare opportunity and is available immediately Summary: Storm is currently seeking a versatile, hands-on PHP developer with a deep experience with Asterisk. We highly value talent, motivation, versatility and character. Storm own and operate a sophisticated wide scale VoIP network, which supplies hosted telephone systems to businesses across the UK. This is a very exciting time for Storm, and we are looking for someone who shares our vision of the future, help us with our large scale expansion plans, and who can work with our very busy team. Storm is based Welshpool, Mid-Wales, however distance working is offered although you will be expected to be on site for at least 1 day per week to discuss progress and report directly to the Managing Director. Duties & Responsibilities: You will be responsible for maintaining the underlying software architecture of Storm and be responsible for future development plans & implementation, including completing work which has already been designed and part implemented. Qualifications / Experience required You must bring a passion for development & programming and have the ability to deal with different tasks simultaneously and deliver real solutions. You must be result oriented, have the willingness to grow professionally and have excellent analytical abilities & thinking, initiative and resistance to stress You must also be able to work independently and have vision, passion and be dedication to want to design, build and maintain large scale projects. Thorough knowledge of the following is essential: Asterisk PHP Javascript HTML / CSS Python MYSQL Linux We are not necessarily looking for formally qualified programmers - skilled developers who are obsessed with programming and have hard earned their living by coding larger scale projects are welcome to apply.
