StormTron NJ update: general weather thoughts and superbowl ideas partII....for those hoping for a real thaw or quick shot of springlike weather...abandon hope and depart this post now..let me be descriptive without being too technical...if current trends are correct we can expect this winter of weather whack-o-mole to continue...cold air will continue to be over or near us...the upper level flow that drives storms and their components for making new storms across the country will be fast...and a new feature...a warmer airmass over the southeast US may possibly develop and try to pulse northward at times....this will mean winter weather threats that pop up....pop down...totally disappear...and if even a fraction reach their disruptive potential WHACK....the worst part is many of these threats will remain vague until a day or two before they either come to pass or pass us by....so I suggest updating yourself once a day with a trusted media source or NWS....check twice a day if a particular day involves travel or weather dependent plans...triple down on rock salt...and dont think about spring til after valentines day flowers get a little withered....for Superbowl forecast guidance is all over the damn place...but the idea of general mesiness sometime over fri/sat/sun is still one that many of my favored forecast resources keepf mentioning
