[Story time] I was once caught in a pickpocket scene near midvalley KTM station. The perpetrator being an indonesian guy and the victim a japanese guy. This guy was a lecturer who came here for a Halal Convention, and he spoke no english. Geared with my weeabo-anime-broken nihongo, I coaxed him to follow me to lodge a report to the police in KL Sentral. The police didnt know how to write in english, so he had me write the report in 1st person, representing the japanese dude. As I was writing, the dude was asking me questions, and I tried the best I could with my limited vocab. The officer was impressed at my superior language versatility (he doesnt know I suck at it, dont tell him) Hoo pandai cakap jepun eh? Boleh la skit2, tengok anime. hehehe He was surprised and leaned forward and asked in a hush-hush tone naruto ke? Ahh naruto! And when fellow narutards meet, we exchanged our views and interests like the retards we are. So here I am, talking about how awesome the storyline has become to an officer. Not awkward at all.
