Strandhill Lodge & Suites (GOY) 14/09/13 Louis Cabena is a man on fire at the moment. He went out on Saturday and made the most of the perfect conditions to record an exceptional round of 65 and win the competition with two shots to spare over Mick Cahill and Ray Clifford who both had 67’s. Louis was only 1 over par when he got to the 15th where he took a double bogey. A bogey at the last was the only other blemish on a fantastic score. Well Done Louis. Mick Cahill played very steadily all the way round with the highlight being a birdie at the 13th. Ray Clifford was also playing really well and after going out in level par a few bogeys on the back nine were his only downfall.
