Strange Dreams, Strange but sensible mutterings It is the second time I had this experience. I dream. Then, like any other dream, I can’t fully remember what it was. But what is strange is I wake up uttering something sensible. The first time was: I had a dream. Then, I woke up. Then I was just muttering, “The Lord is the Lord Who blesses.” “The Lord loves to bestow blessings” and “We have to be in the path of blessings.” I ended up sharing and expounding those mutterings in a message to a congregation in Moncada, Tarlac. The second time was a week ago. I had a dream and woke up muttering things not related to the dream and I would find sensible. At first I believe it was God speaking to me through a dream given what I have muttered that inspired a message. But the last time I was muttering: “The cost of electricity in the Philippines is so high. The government must fix the problem of electricity in the country by providing ample supply and lowering the cost; because the high cost of electricity discourages investors in industries.” Weird. But how about those mutterings after a dream? And yes, they do make a lot of sense. I don’t know whether it’s God-given message yet again, but if wisdom comes from above, then it is a God-sent message because of its relevance and at the moment, sense of urgency. Electricity is basic necessary utility that fuels industry that facilitates the economy. It’s like, the government must do something about it now not just to thicken its supply but to lower its cost so that investors and those into industry would not be discouraged and can expand to generate more jobs, create more products and services and spur economic growth. So far, we have one among the highest cost of electricity in Asia and around the world. This is one reason why industries shy away from our country. If we can lower it through supply and efficient production and distribution, we can, in the long run grow the economy.
