Strange things are afoot in the good ol U.S.A. Congress passed a bill that allows Wall Street to trade in the derivatives market with the protection of the FDIC. What this means, is that when the Wall Street fat cats make bad decisions...it will be your tax dollars footing the bill for the losses, and not the banks. Russia is moving up testing of the new BRICS payment system from next May, to this coming Monday. BRICS is a new international reserve currency system (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) that is designed to replace the U.S. Dollar as the worlds reserve currency. It is the reserve status that gives the dollar its value; since our currency is no longer backed by gold or other precious metals. If we lose the primary reserve status, because the international community no longer wants dollars, you could easily see a loaf of bread, or a gallon of milk, or a dozen eggs cost $20 dollars....because the dollar will have lost so much value. COMEX has put a collar on precious metals, which means if there are sudden price swings in the PM market, trading can be halted. AND, the U.S. Treasury Department is ordering survival kits which include water purification tablets and solar blankets. Survival kits will be delivered to every major bank in the United States including Bank of America, American Express Bank, BMO Financial Corp., Capitol One Financial Corporation, Citigroup, Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Company, and Wells Fargo. And if that isnt enough, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has been seen bricking up their first-floor windows. So....what, exactly, is going on? Some basic preparations for a sudden economic emergency, and ensuing civil unrest, might be in order.
