Strangest request on board a flight: Yesterday, my flight from from Amsterdam to Detroit, I was sitting in a three seat row with an empty middle seat. I was on an aisle and a young woman about 25 years old was in the other aisle seat. The plane was freezing. I was wrapped in three blankets and a sweater jacket and I was still freezing. After about two hours of this and repeated attempts to get the crew to turn off the air, my seat mate who was wrapped in two blankets a hoodie and a resident of Minnesota, said, to me, after introducing herself, Sir may I sit next to you so I can feel your body heat? Weird, but I am a humanitarian. What is a gentleman suppose to do?
