Strengthen Your Resolve To Serve God! And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many (Matthew 20:27-28). One of the areas the Spirit of God instructed us to strengthen this month, is our resolve to serve the Lord. In this month of August, you must strengthen your desire and passion for the Lord and His house. The Lord Jesus was the epitome of selfless service. Though He was the Son of God, He humbled himself to man’s level and gave His life as a ransom for the whole world. Now, He says “your attitude must be like my own, for I the messiah did not come to be served but to serve and to give my life as a ransom” (Matthew 20:27-28 TLB).
