Strengthen support and counseling for exclusive breastfeeding and appropriate feeding of locally available complementary solids for older infants in MOTHER-BABY FRIENDLY SPACES, instead of soliciting for artificial formula and bottles, bottle cleaners, pacifiers etc. Spend precious resources to FEED and COMFORT THE MOTHERS. No general distribution of artificial formula powders. The tired mothers in evacuation mothers should not fall in line just to receive tins of powder that they will dilute. If you insist on giving out artificial formula, be ready for DIARRHEA outbreaks, and heaven forbid, dehydration and death. Powder diluted in dirty water, will just cause malnutrition and suffering. PLEASE, give RESPONSIBLY and INTELLIGENTLY.
