School gardens are a valuable resource and learning tool within our communities, teaching kids about nutrition, sustainability, and caring for the earth through hands-on education and experience. In partnership with Yolo Farm to Fork and Davis Farm to School, were delighted to announce this years Nugget Markets School Garden Grant recipients in Yolo County. Congratulations to Plainfield Elementary and Dingle Elementary in Woodland, and Holmes Jr. High, Davis School for Independent Study, and King High School in Davis.
