Here is a story of PRAYERS First story is of a pious humanitarian religious person with good heart, who always followed the God. He never failed to perform his prayers and do the good deeds for the others. One day he went to the ocean in a boat for the sightseeing. There was a sudden typhoon. He did not know swimming. He started to pray to the God for rescue. A ship came and the captain of the ship asked him to climb aboard. He declined politely and said let the God rescue me. After sometime another ship came and he declined again. Then the 3rd ship came and he declined once more. Finally, he drowned. When he reached the pearly gates, he was presented to the God and he was sad. He asked the God, Father, I have followed you all my life, I had been good to the fellow human beings, I always said my prayers in time and did good deeds. Then, why Lord, you did not save me? The God replied, My, child, I came three times to help you. How do I help someone, who does not want to be helped? How do I help someone, who makes NO effort to be helped?. Moral of the story, TAKE THE ACTION. Prayers without actions are a waste of time.
