Students In Catch-22 As College Authorities Restricts Them To Sit In Examination. Zaffer Nabi Uri, Jan 27 : After too much delay for the Submissions of Ist Year Forms by Kashmir University the students are still in Dilemma as Universty Officials have failed to upload their Examination forms on their Official Website. Scores of first year students of Degree College Uri in border town today staged a protest against the College Authorities outside the SDM (Sub-Divisional Magistrate) Office alleging for not allowing them to fill their Examination forms. The College authorities have restricted at -least 80 students to fill their forms as they are running in shortage and fail in Mid-Term Case. “In September this the college year conducted a Mid-Term Examination in which all the students were declared as failed,” said Nazia Jalal, a BG Ist year student. “We were not given the proper time for the preparation,” she added Students also alleged that they were only informed about Assingnment work, Presentation and Attendance but not about the Mid-Term Examination by their college Authority. Later SDM Uri, Abdul Aziz shot a letter to the Principal of the College and urged him to look into the matter.
