Students with the Academic Institutes at Gulfport High School recently left their class rooms to learn business skills, economic development / finance, hospitality, advertising, and the importance of downtown revitalization. The mission of the Academic Institutes at Gulfport High School is to provide all 11th and 12th grade students with an individualized educational experience focused on College and Career readiness standards, via a rigorous and relevant curriculum enhanced through integrated project based learning. The Academic Institutes at Gulfport High School will focus on the development of real-world problem solving skills while having all students participate in mentor-ships, internships or on-the-job- training experiences aligned to their career interests and skill sets.
