Studio 4 did a reading of my new play last night at the Seattle Center. What an experience! Ive only written for myself to perform so it was my first time hearing other actors speak my lines. It went really well. They loved it and in the critique session were able to identify some places where I felt it wasnt quite working but couldnt put my finger on what was off. So I have some tweaking and editing to do, but not that much. The play, First You Jump (firstyoujump) consists of five separate monologues, each introduced by a song, where different people have to make life changing decisions when there is no clear answer. My sincere thanks to the wonderful actors and to Studio 4 for the opportunity!
