Stuff like this just amazes me. The range of talent, from the arranger to each of the singers in this session, is in the stratosphere. One thing I noticed from years of listening to the radio jingles from companies like Pams in Dallas (attention here, all my close-harmony singing friends) is that you wont hear any vibrato used by them until just a hint of it at the final chord. If you want your overtone series to go banging around the room, the only way youre going to get an absolute lock on a chord is to sing straight tones. These folks are also using lots of air & forward placement. (Barbershop chorus folks -- sound familiar?) Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!
