Submission from Sharron Smillie: Act of Kindness Entry: As I was driving my kids back to school after lunch today, I noticed a lady trying desperately to carry four heavy bags along the sidewalk. I dropped off my kids, did a safe U-turn and asked the lady if she would like a ride. She was stunned and tears welled up in her eyes. She accepted the ride, loaded her bags in the back seat and said she was on her way to the Laundromat. She just moved into the neighbourhood and her apartment didnt have laundry facilities. Shes a single mother of 2 young boys and was extremely grateful for the ride. She called me her Angel. I dont usually pick up strangers but she was struggling with her load.
