Submitted by Stacy S. Pepper 8th Grade Incarnation students create Grammar Carnival As a means of assessing Incarnation Catholic Schools 8th graders’ punctuation knowledge, students were asked to create a carnival game using a minimum of four punctuation marks. In addition, they had to calculate the projected number of students that would successfully play the game. On the day of the carnival, the students set up their games; ran them for the first, second, fourth, and fifth students; and gathered data for the first thirty students that played. To finalize the project, each student team submitted a comprehensive PowerPoint with all of the results. The students had a lot of fun and did a great job!
