Subsurface Planner Rumaila The Subsurface Planner reports to the Subsurface department head. The position is responsible for the preparation of detailed daily, weekly and monthly work plans and to communicate these on a regular basis to the Subsurface teams. This position will be responsible for making sure all ongoing and planned work is captured and entered into a planner and distributed to all relevant persons. The position requires you to interact with other departments including operations, HSE, and the Work-Over / Drilling groups. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills both in English and Arabic and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word. You will think both creatively and logically to resolve any planning problems. This position will be a 5/2 positions meaning working five days per week office hours and weekends off. Key roles and responsibilities include: -- Liaise with delivery and function managers, contractors and suppliers to ensure that the development project planning requirements are met. -- Develop scenario plans highlighting risks and opportunities. -- Interrogate contractor planning reports for signs of slippage, productivity and resource issues etc. -- Attend meetings (both internal & external). -- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. -- Coordinate schedule peer reviews and risk analysis to ensure planning system robustness. -- Work with the relevant Gatekeeper to ensure that the relative priority of each planned activity is assessed, assigned and communicated -- Production of ad-hoc schedules where required -- Attend meetings to discuss progress and undertake actions as requested. Skills Experience in a similar role is advantageous -- As a minimum, the candidate should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word. -- Excellent communication skills, professionalism and good interpersonal skills both in English and Arabic -- Ability to understand and work with differing cultures -- Experience within the Oilfield Industry would be an advantage however this isnt essential -- Ability to work well within a team. you can apply through this link :
