Success Martial Arts is you; its your school; its your Black Belt; - TopicsExpress

Success Martial Arts is you; its your school; its your Black Belt; its your chain of wisdom. Do we look at ourselves and say, Ladies and gentlemen, we are here to learn to be something far less than our best. We are here to become common, to be mediocre, to ask just enough of ourselves to get by, and to be as lackluster as half effort can make us. I think not. At Success Martial Arts it is part of the practice to say, Is this the best I can do? When you begin; you step up as a leader, as a thinker, and as a doer. Your effort, combined with others, must aspire to that of the most sophisticated, proactive, thoughtful souls you know of --the great ones, the men and women who made their lives stand for something significant and powerful; who left something of themselves for us to learn from and admire. Why shoot for anything less? Apathy? Disinterest? Laziness? Ignorance? Selfishness? Lack of time? YUCK!! Our school isnt a martial arts school --its a tool for your development; for becoming a great parent, a great student, and it’s a launch-pad for your evolution as an example, a citizen, an engaged leader, a diligent, awake, empowered student. Why shoot for anything less? Ive learned how to use the martial arts, my journey, to bring me good things. Im learned how to make good black belts and martial arts champions. Now Im on a path thats about forging unique aspirational families into a force for authentic personal development--and about expanding the work we do to reflect the most elegant possible goals and purpose. Less than that isnt the best work I / we can imagine. Im simply not that complacent about our potential. Ask more of yourself; so you can ask more of those you influence (Which is many more than you think). Become a solid resource of problem solving and stewardship. Act as if the person or people you most respect came to you and asked, Are you here to learn to be something far less than your best? Are you here to become common, to be mediocre, to ask just enough of yourself to get by, and to be as lackluster as half-an-effort can make you?” I think not.
