Success Stories 1- Fadwa T., is an ambitious Married Palestinian Refugee, who hasn’t got a bachelor degree in the social services but just has a vocational degrees in Accounting and Nursery. To let her dreams come true, she volunteered with one of the community based centers and then hired in two positions with the local non-governmental organizations for a salary not exceeding the minimum wages. Seeking a better opportunity, she registered at the employment services center, in Feb 2013, and was assisted in preparing a professional curriculum vitae and a covering letter, by which she started applying on the online vacancies and succeeded in getting a job with one of the international NGO for a decent job of salary 1200$ and an official contract. 2- Farah Z, a Palestinian youth graduated from the Lebanese university with a bachelor degree in Sociology and was jobless for one year. After 6 months of her graduation she visited the employment services center and was supported to find a job with one of the community based rehabilitation centers as a social worker. At the same time, she was assisted in preparing a professional curriculum vitae and a covering letter, and trained on how to apply on online vacancies by which she started applying as has succeeded in finding a job with the International Medical Corps as Case Manager for 1000$ and signed a contract for one year. Farah is very proud of herself where she is now more independent, Self-confident and optimistic about her career. 3-Chadi. F., is a Palestinian Refugee who has got a Nursing degree in 2013. During his studies he was able to practice work as a Nurse in several Health Centers and Hospitals as a volunteer or a daily paid for less than 300$ per month. This experience improved his skills and knowledge in the domain and facilitated his integration in the Labor Market. In July 2013 he visited the employment Services Center seeking the support in securing a job with decent conditions specially that he has got engaged a has new responsibilities. In Sept 2013, his application matched two job opportunities and was successful to be hired as a Nurse with one of the private hospitals in Tripoli area with a decent working conditions where he signed a contract and will get a salary of 650$.
