Success!!!! ☺️☺️ Made it to Playa this morning only to be told that they couldnt help me at the I-store and that likely it was a huge hardware problem, likely over $1000. so what did we do? We bought some great Serrano ham at the deli, slammed out an epic bench workout at The Gym in Playa, and caught the communal shuttle to Cancun. (I have to tell you the shuttle buses here are awesome! They cost a few dollars and run from morning till midnight between Cancun, Playa and Tulum). In Cancun theres an I-store with great technicians, and they fixed the computer in 5 minutes. Apparently an insect crawled inside and caused a spark. Once they removed the dead body everything was okay. I literally had my computer de-bugged! We celebrated back in Tulum by grabbing dinner at La Chiapeneca on Ave. Tulum. Seriously awesome food: tacos, tortas, sopas, tostadas, empanadas, pretty much anything tacos, all hecho con mano and off-the-charts YUMMO! Lesson of the week: 1) Hanging out with people you love doing the things that your passionate about bring happiness, not spending money 2) always stay calm no matter what happens, squeeze fun into the solution if at all possible, and focus on getting the job done And 3) be a team player when the chips are down. Nothing trumps someone who has your back through thick and thin. In my case, it was the best gift ever to look across at my husband and see that I had found a real partner for life. Thank you JJ!!
