Successful business ideas in Western world which are yet to be implemented in developing countries? 1.Luxury goods. Developing countries often have the biggest income inequalities. Meaning there is a market for all type of goods yet most retailers only focus on the lower end of the market alone. 2.Logistics. Developing companies often lack proper infrastructure to move goods from manufacturer to consumer. Logistic companies are normally monopolies which make their prices exorbitant even with the poor infrastructure. 3.Mobile Services and electronic communication. Developing countries are usually accompanied with high population growth rates and huge rural urban migration numbers. Mobile companies have realized this and are heavily moving to these economies but costs are still often higher than in the developed world. Cost of guaranteed unlimited high speed internet is about $50 in most European countries in most developing countries this can go as high as $500 for less than 1/4 the speeds you would get in Europe yet it may not be guaranteed and may even be limited. 4.Clothing. Most developing countries will only have second hand or used clothing available on their markets yet the prices are comparable to new clothing especially when you move away from the cities. 5.Banking and finance Developing countries seem to be more interested in actually discouraging banking than encouraging it. If you put $1000 in most accounts the charges would be lower than the interest (appreciating your money). In Developing countries the charges normally outweigh the interest meaning your money will depreciate. 6. Electricity. Developing countries have electricity costs that dwarf those of developed countries.
