Such a bitter/sweet week ahead. My heart is so heavy having to say goodbye to my Papa, but Im very excited to celebrate the incredible man he was and the inspiring life he lived. I cant adequately describe how remarkable he was. He made such a positive impact in many lives and Im so proud to be his granddaughter. Speaking from a family full of girls, I believe our Papa set the par for how a man should conduct himself, and how patient and loving a man should be. He taught us that we were beautiful and had self a worth. But as a very inlligent man himself, he humbly reminded me that physical beauty fades. An unshakeable faith, a desire to grow and expand in knowledge, a sense of humor, love, and finding joy utilizing something youre passionate about will keep you young and happy, despite outer appearance. I love you, Papa. So very much. Thank you for everything.
