Sugar might look pure and taste sweet… but the bitter truth is that it creates a metabolic disaster in your body. As your blood sugar rises, so does insulin. They can destroy vision… cause migraine headaches… and even damage the brain and nervous system. And while they may have zero calories, they have even been shown to disrupt metabolism… promote weight gain… and cause dangerous blood sugar spikes!
