The average annual rainfall is 1,208.88 millimeters Information Sukhothai Historical Park is about 12 kilometers in west, away from Sukhothai townhall. When entering to the old city, you will see the tops of pagodas which are gorgeous and the holy temple. The park opens from 8.30 to 16.30. Admission fee 20 baht/person. The city wall is located at Tambol Muang Kao. The wall is s.quare shape. It is the 3 storey soil wall. The length of the wall from North to South is 2,000 meters and east side is 1,600 meters. There are 4 entrances ; North side is called “Sarn Luang”, South is called “Na Mo”, West is called “Kampang Hak” and East is called “Or”. In a radius of 5 km outside the city walls, the remains of about 70 buildings in Buddhism and Brahmanism have been restored by the Fine Arts Department and have been established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2537. To get to the park from the city of Sukhothai, visitors can ride the city bus (minibus) at parking area near the police booth far from the bridge over the Yom river to the west about 200 meters.
