Suleiman Chairs Security Meeting amid Renewed Reports on Explosive-Laden Cars President Michel Suleiman chaired a security meeting on Monday at the Baabda Palace with head of security agencies to discuss a recent document saying that four explosive-rigged cars entered Lebanon. According to An Nahar newspaper, the leaked document by airport security apparatus the four booby-trapped cars were moved to Lebanon from the neighboring country Syria. The meeting will also address the latest developments in Syria and their repercussions on Lebanon. Lebanon is sharply divided over the raging war in neighboring Syria, with Hizbullah and its allies backing the regime of President Bashar Assad and the Sunni-led opposition supporting the rebellion. Recently, the northern city of Tripoli witnessed twin bombings and two neighborhoods in Beiruts southern suburb were rocked by explosions. The bombings were carried out by explosive-rigged cars.
