Summary and Rating for the Derby... De Gea (8) Definitely my Man of the Match. Excellent saves...alert and vigilant at all times. Unlucky that goal came through. Valencia (6) Did his job defensively and once a while overlapping. Rojos (6) Did well in his position with good tackling but unlucky to ended up with injury. Smalling (3) Was the most depended on due to his height but never expect such recklessness that led to his unnecessary sent-off Shaw (7) Amazed by his hardwork...defensively and zonal-play. He stick to what he supposed to do with nothing fancy and a couple of good blocks. Di Maria (5) Suddenly not shining at all. The limelight, the blistering runs are easily anchored down by almost anyone. Januzaj (4) Does not know when to stop flamboyant play and start playing strategically as a team. Disappointed. Subbed. Fellaini (6) Microphone started to actually look consistently presence unlike last season. He challenged and fought hard but seems like not his day. Blind (5) Average. No interesting challenges or being the savior of the day. Rooney (7) The usual....fought like a mad man till he got cramps but still fought on. Van Persie (6) did his bit to just save his name from being condemned. Yet to really see the old RVP that really came flying from all directions to score. McNair (6) Came in...settled fast and in control that allows the rest of the lads to carry on forward with lesser worry. Well done young lad. Wilson (6) Another young lad. Did his job. Teased and dares to take on more experienced players like Kompany. Yes Ladies and Gentlemen...I agreed that after the sending-off Smalling incident, the table was turned to us. We were shot at from all angles by them but the even down with one man doesnt stop us from attacking them back. First half totally affected by Smallings departure but after the arrival of McNair and Wilson, amazingly United started to counter every attack thrown at them by City. 10 men who fought hard to defend and attack 11 men and losing by just ONE goal.... i accepted the defeat as what Louis Van Gaal said umpteen times that He will take United where we supposed to be. A rebuilding session that you saw the improvements clearly that WE NEVER GIVE UP OR PLAY TOTAL DEFENSE eventhough we were down by ONE man short and ONE goal. We fought till the final whistle. We will comeback. Dont worry. GGMU!!!
