Summit (55 & Better) Thursdays | Returning January 8th 6:30pm | B Building, B-120 The New Year is just around the corner, and if you are feeling like you would enjoy an exercise program, we have something for you. Walking is one of the best low-impact exercises you can do, especially when in the company of friends. Feeling out of shape and afraid you can’t keep up? We’re just the group for you! We again will have two walking groups: one for those who wish to walk a little slower and one for those who want to push themselves a bit more. You won’t be left behind, and you won’t be slowing down your group. It is fun just to meet with your friends while being outside and seeing God’s wonderful creation. Our weekly meetings resume January 8 in B-120 at 7:00 PM. Communion service and prayer are offered at 6:30. While on the walk we’ll decide where to gather for lunch. Saturday, January 3: Hike Near Placerville David Sieminski will lead this hike. We will meet at 9:30 in the Century Theaters 14 parking lot located at 261 Iron Point Rd., Folsom. From there we will carpool to the trailhead which is located off of Missouri Flat Rd. After the walk we will have lunch at Mike’s Grill, 1772 Pleasant Valley Rd., Placerville. Saturday, January 3: Evening of Prayer Pray In The New Year! We will gather Friday night at 7:00 PM at Coreen Myers’ home to rejoice in the faithfulness and blessing of God in the year gone by and to seek His blessing in the year ahead. Additionally, we will pray for specific healing needs of those who come. We had a great experience of God’s presence and his impressive answers last time we gathered. Tuesday, January 6, 9:30 am: Walk in Maidu Park Meet at 9:30 AM in the parking lot at Maidu Park, located off Rocky Ridge Dr. south of Douglas Blvd. The address is 1550 Maidu Drive, Roseville. As you enter the park turn left at the first stop sign. We can decide where we want to go for lunch during the walk.
