Summit Needs Rescue ASAP! Lexington, KY CONTACT: Lacey at dogloverlace@gmail FULLY VETTED! Transport Assistance Available! A fellow rescue supporter/transporter needs our help with this little lady, named Summit! Summit came into this volunteers care after being found in TN on a mountain, starving to death (this is how she got her name, Summit, for the top of the mountain she was found on). Summits current foster will be leaving Lexington soon to become a traveling nurse and with no current prospects of adoption for this beauty, she needs some rescue help to find this little girl a place to go. Summit is about 3 years old, a petite 35 pounds, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. Personality wise, she gets along very well with other dogs. She still has a fair amount of puppy energy and is very playful. As sweet as can be, she enjoys snuggling and is very loyal to her human. When unfamiliar visitors arrive at the home, Summit has a habit of becoming a little territorial and has a tendency to rush towards visitors and try to nip. She isnt trying to do any damage, but is just giving a warning. She has NEVER bitten anyone. Her current foster just places Summit in the crate when unfamiliar guest arrives, and within a few minutes she settles and is completely fine, and the next thing you know Summit is getting pets and giving kisses to these new friends. Summit does NOT do this in any other setting - park, outings, walks, etc. It has only occurred in the home. If your rescue can help this sweetie, or for more information, please email Lacey at dogloverlace@gmail . Transport assistance is available. Feel free to share and crosspost to your reputable rescue contacts. No internet classifieds please. Thank you! Sarah Jones TWHRA
