It is poorly written and there are SO many things that need to be done that do Not require more money and Will actually increase revenue. Follow the advice of Sun Tzu. Vote No on the millage for Animal Control. The current operating budget for Animal Control is about $1.2 million. Part of that comes from the General Fund. They are asking to add an additional $1.7 million each year from the taxpayers. That more than doubles their budget. Yet, there is NO wording that says how they will use the money. Most likely they will cut money coming from the slush fund. There NEEDS to be accountability AND implementation of the 12 steps GRACE has thoroughly researched proposed.
