Sunday 11th August, Candy started today as if she was going to have a very lazy Sunday, stay in ya PJs eat and sleep lots, she had a 3 course brekkie and then lay down and went to sleep, while i was pooh picking i found a near normal pooh that she must of done during the night, finding a normal pooh is like finding some gold, may be even better. That was a great way to start a Sunday for me. With Candy starting to eat a little more i nipped out and got a sack of Sugarbeet, the speedbeet stuff, and she liked it so thats another thing to add to her goodies, Readigrass and soaked pony nuts are the favorite foods of the moment, during the morning Candy had some very projectile poohs, she hasnt had many of those over the last few days, so much so i had to wash her down. The sleeping theme continued into the afternoon, charging her batteries, just really getting up for the loo and to have a nibble then sleep again. Then the amazing happened, it was just by pure chance, Candy has been trying hay for the last couple of days, just really ripping it out of her net, then spitting it out. Well i went in with my scoop of herbal tea to let her have a drink and the next thing there she was ripping hay out of her net eating it and either dunking it or taking drinks of tea, she went though 2 scoops of tea in the 10/15min hay eating, i smiled, i grinned, i smiled some more then i cried and cried some more, my baby was eating hay and she seemed to be enjoying it, a few bits were spat out but she ate the majority, AMAZING. Then a horse went passed out on a hack, Faith went saying hello as she always does, (she is very nosey) and then Candy set off in her funny almost baby like trot, down the field whinning at this horse, again it was nice to see, she interest in whats going on around her, lovely. Then she came trotting back up the field having a few wee shakes of her head she was wanting to play and have a canter and a bucking session, but bless her body isnt ready for stuff like that yet, but the thought was there, she had to settle for a cuddle with her mum :) Candys food intake today has been; 9 scoops of soaked pony nuts, mixed with marmite, spearmint, seaweed, rosehip, yea sacc, garlic and from this afternoon some sugarbeet. 10 scoops of sliced Carrots and Apples 8 scoops of Readigrass 2 scoops of ice cream Her fluid intake has been; 10.5 ltrs of herbal tea/water 7 bags of water Candy has had about 6/7 poohs some very projectile and fluid like this morning, this afternoon they have been semi formed cow pats, she is still having very good pee`s i saw 4 of those today Candy had some time out with faith about teatime but it then started to rain, in Candy came she cant stand rain at the moment, i think the lack of bodily fat as making her feel the cold/wet a wee bit. The eating theme continued this evening, and i had a brain wave, Candy has 3 hanging buckets her carrot/apple one is next to her soaked food bucket, she does like to take a mouthful of carrots and then fill her mouth with soaked food, on the other side of her housie she has a hanging bucket for her Readigrass and her hay net is hung near it, so my brainwave was to hang bucket number 4 inbetween her haynet and readigrass bucket, and that can have herbal tea in it, for dunking. i did try the herbal tea bucket on the other side a wk or so ago and it didnt work she wouldnt drink out of it. Well before i had even left her housie she was drinking out of it. and when i went over to check her and take more tea supplies she had been dunking her readigrass, so fingers crossed it continues to be a success. Candy hasnt been sweating today, just warm to touch again and her tremors were very faint this morning but got worse as the day went on, her nose is only blocked a wee bit, and again the head stretching and contorting jaw have been worse when drinking Today has been amazing i am still buzzing, Candy has definately kicked butt today she is incredible, so another day nearer and another butt kicking day tomorrow :))))
