Sunday, 16 November, 2014. “Keep your lives FREE FROM THE LOVE OF MONEY and be CONTENT with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’.” Hebrews 13:5, NIV. Thank You Father God for giving me the Word “GREEDY” and the scripture numbers to preach to the world through your Facebook church for your honor, glory and praise. • My friend, it was GREED that caused the painful death of our dear Lord Jesus Christ on the cross 2000 years ago for your sins and salvation: “but Jesus asked him, Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man (Jesus) with a kiss (Judas, one of Jesus’ disciples, was GREEDY and took MONEY from the authority by leading them to arrest and kill Jesus)?” Luke 22:48, NIV. Our Father God could have sent our Lord Jesus Christ to die in a different way; but He allowed GREED as the evil weapon used by the enemy to falsely persecute and kill His beloved Son Jesus Christ for the sins and salvation of the world: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16, NIV. Are you being loved? Amen. Hallelujah. Thank You Father God. • For our Heavenly Father wants you to understand that GREED IS A SERIOUS SIN AND AN EVIL FORCE OF THE WORLD for GREED brings hurt, pain, suffering, sorrow, grief, death, and destruction to humanity, especially our loved ones: “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.” 1 Timothy 6:9, NIV. In the evil name of GREED, we have seen many ugly and deadly cases in the media and in history. As preached below, these are testimonies of the fact that the BIBLE SPEAKS THE TRUTH for JESUS IS THE TRUTH: “I am the way and the TRUTH and the life.” John 14:6, NIV. • GOD HATES GREED and the LOVE of MONEY but LOVES CONTENTMENT: “For the love of MONEY is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for MONEY, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” 1 Timothy 6:10, NIV. • My friend, GREED is DARKNESS but CONTENTMENT is LIGHT for GOD is LIGHT: Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of GREED; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions. Luke 12:15, NIV. • Do we really love God when we say “I love You God”? God wants you to prove to Him that You love Him more than MONEY by running away from GREED: “My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are GREEDY for unjust gain. Ezekiel 33:31, NIV. • If you pray for GREEDY gains to satisfy your ungodly pleasures, God will not answer your prayers: “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:3, NIV. • Beloved, Jesus wants you to run away from the deadly consequences of GREED and the LOVE of MONEY but to live your life with CONTENTMENT. When you do this by obeying and putting God first, He will forever take care of you and bless you abundantly for HE IS THE GOD OF PROVISION OF ALL OF OUR NEEDS: “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5, NIV. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33, NIV. Are you happy? Amen. Hallelujah. Thank You Father God. • GREED IS NOT a by-product of the fruit of the Spirit: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23, NIV. • GREED is the LOVE OF MONEY (e.g., corruption, bribery) that causes the downfall of a person and the suffering of the citizens of a country: “A greedy man brings trouble to his family, but he who hates bribes will live.” Proverbs 15:27, NIV. • GREED is pride and pride causes the downfall of a person: Before his downfall a mans heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. Proverbs 18:12, NIV. God has also asked me to preach on “HUMILITY” and the message can be found in the following link: @[UzpfSTEwMDAwNzkzMDY1NDI0ODoxNDk0ODc5NzM0MTE5NzAx:https://facebook/nqngo2005/posts/1494879734119701] • GREED makes more enemies than friends: “The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper.” Proverbs 28:25, NIV. • GREED destroys families (e.g., parents, brothers and/or sisters are fighting ugly court cases for a GREEDY share of the family’s inherited wealth). • GREED destroys marriages: “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Exodus 20:17, NIV. • GREED betrays friendship for financial or other benefits. • GREED betrays colleagues for career advancement. • GREED brings down corporate organizations (e.g., bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers in 2008). • My friend, do not be exploited by the GREEDY and turn down the evil temptations caused by GREED: “In their GREED these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.” Peter 2:3, NIV. • GREED is the evil force behind child prostitution, child slavery, famine, and starvation and the consequence to the GREEDY is poverty: “He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich--both come to poverty. Proverbs 22:16, NIV. • GREED for power, control, dominance and resources causes conflicts and wars (e.g., World War 2): “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight.” James 4:1-2, NIV. • GREED that causes evil deeds will be punished by God: “Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At mornings light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance. Therefore, the LORD says: “I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.” Micah 2:1-3, NIV. • Run away from GREED and make your living in a righteous way that is pleasing in God’s sight: “An inheritance claimed too soon will not be blessed at the end.” Proverbs 20:21, NIV. • My friend, the devastating consequences of GREED are misery and death: “So Judas (the one who betrayed Jesus) threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.” Matthew 27:5, NIV. • My friend, run away from GREED for it will destroy you!: “Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it.” Proverbs 1:19, NIV. • Reject GREED by doing your best (whether you are rich or not) for God by giving to the poor, and God will reward you abundantly: “Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.” Proverbs 28:27, NIV. “Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,” 1 Timothy 6:17-18, NIV. . • The solution to GREED is CONTENTMENT to obey God’s will: “Keep your lives FREE FROM THE LOVE OF MONEY and be CONTENT with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’.” Hebrews 13:5, NIV. “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be CONTENT with your pay.”: Luke 3:14, NIV. “ I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be CONTENT whatever the circumstances.” Philippians 4:11, NIV. “But godliness with CONTENTMENT is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.” I Timothy 6:6, NIV. “But if we have food and clothing, we will be CONTENT with that.” I Timothy 6:8, NIV. • Satan and your demonic associates, I command you in the mighty name of Jesus to bring GREED to hell with you for hell is where you belong to. In Jesus’ name, amen. • I pray for the leaders of the world to EMBRACE CONTENTMENT BY REJECTING GREED with great courage and unity in their leadership to save the world by bringing peace and prosperity for GREED will only lead to the destruction of the world as history has shown us. • Blessed are the righteous and godly that are CONTENT with their lives: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33, NIV. • Blessed are those that are obedient and faithful to God to do His will for His honor, glory and praise: “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and OBEY it.” Luke 11:28, NIV. “And if you walk in OBEDIENCE to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.” 1 Kings 3:14, NIV. • My dear, Jesus wants you to be CONTENT BY REJECTING GREED IN YOUR LIFE. If you mean what you say when you say that “I LOVE YOU JESUS”, do it for Him. My friend, Jesus deserves this from you for GREED was the evil force of the enemy behind His painful death on the cross for your sins and salvation. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank You Jesus. • Lord, please forgive us for being GREEDY or NOT BEING CONTENT ENOUGH in the past that have caused so much hurt, pain, suffering, sorrow, grief, death, and destruction to humanity, especially our loved ones. • Father, please teach us to be CONTENT from now on so that we can be more loving to humanity, especially our loved ones for YOU ARE LOVE JESUS. • Lord Jesus, thank You so much for transforming the GREEDY world to be a CONTENT world to be pleasing in Your sight for Your honor, glory and praise. • Thank You Holy Spirit for Your presence and teaching. • I pray with humility in Jesus name, amen. • I praise, bless, glorify, and honor You for I love You Father. • God bless you. God loves you. I love you too . John Ngo
