Sunday 16th June 2013 If this man were a prophet he’d see..... Last Sunday great prophets of old, Eliah and Elisha, let us read the word prophet as applied to Jesus one filled with the wisdom, insight and power of God who can see what people at large are blind to, what lies below the surface, Jesus sees the woman as sin-free because of her generosity and her respect for him. The host sees only what people assume to be the situation, something we need to be aware of - the fact that we can be blinded by what we hear people saying. Jesus can open our eyes - if we’re willing to listen to him and watch how he treats people. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pilgrimage to Medjugorie Saturday Aug 31st 2013 - See poster for details ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thursday Bingo (Cumann na Daoine) Prize Money €1,000 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GAA Lotto No jackpot winner - Jackpot now €6,000 - Thanks for your support ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is seeking volunteers - If interested, call Gail 01-2310566 or email [email protected] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kyle National School are holding a celebration in honour of our teacher, Mary Rohan on the occasion of her retirement.
