Sunday 6th October 2013 Your captivity is turned Ps. 126:4 “Bring back our captivity,…” The enemy does not rest day or night. He walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He left Jesus in the wilderness only for a season. Also victory over the devil is not gotten by the strength of human arms or the whims of human mind. The race is not for the swift nor the battle to the strong and no king is saved by the multitude of a host (Eccl. 9:11, Ps. 33:16). It is only God that saves. The prayer of the Psalmist is prophetic just like Jesus taught the Church to pray proactively “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” (Matt. 6:13). Dearly beloved, one arm-fling type of prayer or one moment trust will not do. You must trust the Lord for the rest of your life. He is the certainty of our future. As you do, the God of Israel will be your Guide not only for now but throughout your life. Amen. Prayer Point Lord turn around my life. Memorise Turn again our captivity O Lord as the streams in the south (Ps. 126:4) You are turned around.
