Sunday, March 30, 2014 Fourth Sunday of Lent First Reading: 1 Samuel 16:1, 6-7, 10-13 Responsorial Psalm 23:1-6 Second Reading : Ephesians 5:8-14 Gospel Reading : John 9:1-41 or John 9:1, 6-9, 13-17, 34-38 I will not live an instant that I do not live in love. Whoever loves does all things without suffering, or, suffering, loves his suffering. ( St. Augustine ) THEME : JESUS OPEN MY BLIND HEART. Here God want me to recognize the light of his truth and power in my life. God wants to remove every obstacle that might hinder me from recognizing the light of his truth and wisdom for my life. Sometimes sin blinds me and cause me to stumble and fall - unable to rise on my own or to walk in the freedom of Gods love and truth. Sin clouds my mind in moral confusion, and it grows in darkness and resists the light of Gods truth. I believe only Gods light can uncover the darkness of sin and free me to walk in the path of holiness and peace with God.
