Sunday Paul and I, the duo known as QuickChester will be doing our usual thang at HYPHEN in downtown Asheville. For those of you who havent yet been there, please make a point to come Sunday at 11:00am and love two birds at the same time... Paul and me... or Meg and Nedra... or Mark and Iggy or Kimi and Ben... heckfire, come love EVERYONE at Hyphen whilst Paul and I (QuickChester) do our best to entertain all you crazies! Then... (you thought I was done?) theres the upcoming Day of the Dead, properly named something in Spanish that roughly translates to Day of the Dead, November 1st. Theres lots of stuff going on at Hyphen. Exactly 3/5 of The Flying Oatsmen, and Paul, will play acoustic Grateful Dead tunes starting at 8:30pm til late, followed by a late night set from the monstrously talented Iggy Griffing. The party begins Thursday night (Halloween) and goes on on weekend until Paul and I take the floor again, followed by Mark Applefords dynamic original tunes. Please make a plan to come and stay the entire time. There, Im done.
