Sunday Summary 1/18/2015 Bro. Tony introduced the service using Matthew 22:36-40 as his text. He reiterated the axiom of Jesus relative to the importance of possessing the love of God. It is Gods love that attracts people to the Gospel despite whatever internal or external conflicts they may have. There is no greater quest than to increase in the love of God. Bro. Ron followed stating that Jesus said that love would be the defining characteristic of His Gospel. The world will know that ye are my disciples by the love that ye have for one another. Gods love is not defined by emotion but a determination to act in a loving way whether it is deserved or reciprocated. The love of God is transparent, you cant conceal it where it is and cant feign it where it is not. It is the only commodity that we take with us as we stand before God. During testimony a Sister told of the following experience she had: Following Brother Marty Gonzales being anointed, she heard God speak these words: Come to me dear son and I will take care of you. She understood these words to mean that Brother Marty was to pray to God and he will take care of him. Wednesday----Branch Business Meeting
