Sunday Update! I finished that Zodiac killer book. He makes a pretty convincing case that his bio-Dad is the guy if all the details actually line-up. Ive heard that they might reopen the case and look into it, but if what he reports is accurate there are some pretty creepy (on top of the already creepy) twists that the story takes. Serial killers fascinate me while simultaneously creeping me out so dang much I fear Ill never be able to sleep. I dont know how they do. I have now lived in three of the biggest serial killer cities (Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle) but found out that the Zodiacs first killing was in Riverside, California - where I was born. Im sure I will be spending the next two weeks wondering if every person I see if actually a serial killer. That is why I shouldnt read these books. But they are so hard to put down. They also raise our electricity bill since I have to have every single light on in the house while Im reading them. Totally unrelated, some comedy/performing related stuff is happening that is exciting. Wednesday turned out to be a very productive social networking night for me, for one. There are a few other things that have surfaced as well. Not sure what will happen with any of it, but I like where things seem to be going. And I found out that my identical cousin, Robert Jeffrey, is not only going to be making an appearance on December 3rd at Q&A: Quentin & Anders but he is now making noise about showing up to steal my thunder when I headline at Columbia City Theater on Wednesday, December 10th. I wouldnt doubt that he will have his own Facebook page soon. I watched an entire movie via You Tube today. I hate doing that. As a Proud Cineaste, this cuts into my heart with a dull knife. But it was a movie that is not available otherwise. It was broken into 8 parts, and it was blurry and choppy and rebuffed frequently, but I made it through the whole thing. I wont say what it was, but it was research for my next show. Still cant believe we live in a world where everything is at our fingertips, but we treated it all like it is junk. Ugh. If I read one more tweet (or FB update) that says Im watching... I will get that dull knife out again and stab away at what is left of my heart. If you are on line or on your phone tapping out some text, you are NOT watching a movie. You have it on as background. Not the same thing. Pasolini wept.
