Sunday afternoon Jan 4th 2015 Good afternoon. Currently we are under foggy conditions with temps in the low 40s. Warm air is pumping North from the South causing the fog issues since last evening... while we may not be in the mid 50s like we were expecting to be by this time, the 50s are not to far off from reaching our region. We do expect temps to continue to climb throughout the afternoon before a very powerful cold front comes crashing into our region by the late afternoon/early evening hours. As this cold front with much colder air surges in from the West, it will likely trigger some rain showers and maybe even a few rumbles of thunder depending on surface temps. As the front passes overhead, temps will start to crash and very windy conditions will commence especially late tonight and again on Monday. Overnight lows tonight will dip back into the mid to upper 20s. Monday breezy conditions with some sunshine. Daytime high right around 32 degrees. The winds will make it feel much colder, so bundle up if you will be out doors for extended periods of time. We then turn our eyes to a weak clipper system poised to impact our region overnight Monday into Tuesday. Light fluffy snow fall is expected. Computer guidance is not impressive with this system, but higher than normal snow ratios being factored in would support a general coating to as much as 3 inch type event. Extremely cold air then works into Lebanon County by the mid to end part of the week with overnight lows Wednesday dipping into or near the single digits, with Thursdays daytime high only reaching the upper teens. Burrrr! Have a great Sunday everyone. ~Justin
